Shot in Middletown: Pigeons — Lots

Feeding pigeons is prohibited in certain areas of the city, but there are no such signs prohibiting the practice off the frontage road near Washington Street and Pacific Highway.

On a regular basis, a gentleman in a bright yellow Lamborghini stops near the rarely used railroad tracks that cross the Pacific Highway on-ramp; he empties a large bag of what must be bird feed. Pigeons by the hundreds gather around a rectangular piece of metal on which the gentleman pours the feed.

The birds seem so accustomed to feeding here that they tend to stick around all hours of the day on the Pacific Highway exit overpass (pictured) and the overhead wires.
