Rollover on Genesee Avenue

One vehicle rolled over and another was severely damaged shortly after 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 3.

A white hatchback owned by All Counties Courier was traversing Genesee Avenue just north of La Jolla Village Drive. The intersection has traffic lights that service two high-rise business properties on either side of Genesee Avenue. While crossing from one property to the other, the courier vehicle was struck by another vehicle heading north on Genesee.

The courier vehicle came to rest on its roof, partially blocking the entry to the Plaza building complex. Paramedics treated both drivers for undisclosed injuries.

To the best of my knowledge, this is the third vehicle rollover at this intersection within a year.
