Surrounded

Just before 1:00 p.m on June 29, an altercation between two people at 746 Broadway (above the Church of Steel tattoo shop) resulted in police officers surrounding the building. Because a gun was involved, police cordoned off a two-block perimeter.

Two officers were visible on the roof and one or more were inside with the gunman. At around 1:30 p.m., more officers entered the building and took a man into custody. There were no apparent injuries; no one was taken away by ambulance.
