Some of the issues raised included gum and graffiti removal from business-area sidewalks and walls, rent control and renter education programs about “Good Neighbor’’ behavior, surveillance video camera installment on Garnet Avenue, the development of an east-west corridor bike path, rape prevention/education programs, the reduction of bars and improved vigilance against drunk driving, increase in youth events not focused on alcohol, all-inclusive broadband Wi-Fi coverage, and more.
