For the Shills

Three masked members of Anonymous San Diego (xenu.net) demonstrated on December 5 outside the headquarters of the Scientology/Hubbard Dianetics Foundation on Fourth Avenue. The building is listed for sale.

While it was a peaceful protest, one demonstrator (who asked to remain anonymous) said they've experienced “a few incidents over the last two years. There was a minor slapping incident a couple of months ago.” He said the cops come regularly because Scientology officials call to complain. “But we try to let the cops know when we are protesting,” he said.

While Anonymous members are usually masked to protect their identity, he said, “Sometimes I don't use a mask.” How do Scientology staffers react? He said, “One of them came out today. But he didn't have much to say.”

The protester clarified why he demonstrates against the religious group: “I have never protested for anything based on their religious belief. I couldn't care less if they think they are possessed by aliens. We're protesting their behavior.”

As for celebrities involved with Scientology, he said, “I don't care about Tom Cruise's religion. It's not about belief. I don't think he's involved with any of the illegal aspects. I don't think any of the celebrities are.” But, he added, “Scientology has a shell of these public members. They are the shills. They are the ones who are getting ripped off.”
