“Hubert Dymitr Haraszewski Jr. molested me while were in a cave at San Onofre State Beach in October 2007,” the teenage victim testified on December 3 in a Vista courtroom. “We went in the cave and he stuck his hand down my shorts.”

The boy, who was 12 at the time, testified that he and Haraszewski had gone on an outing to San Onofre State Beach, where they got naked at a nude beach. The boy said Haraszewski had molested him once before and that Haraszewski befriended him over the internet; the two kept in contact through the boy’s MySpace account, which the 34-year-old Haraszewski had set up.

According to court records, Haraszewski faces a multitude of charges relating to lewd and lascivious acts against four boys who were under 14 at the time of the alleged incidents. He also faces charges in connection with possessing, distributing, and duplicating child pornography.

Haraszewski, who served nine years in state prison for a 1996 child molestation conviction out of Ventura County, has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity.
