San Diego police arrested one person for driving under the influence and issued a misdemeanor citation to another person for making threats in connection with a disturbance that began at a Pacific Beach bar.

On Wednesday, August 12, at around 1:30 a.m., seven police units responded to a report of a fight at the Pacific Beach Bar and Grill on Garnet Avenue. A police officer arriving at the scene reported to the dispatcher that a large number of patrons had left the bar during the incident and were gathering on Mission Boulevard, north of Garnet.

San Diego police media services manager Monica Muñoz said five people were involved in the altercation and the people who relocated to Mission Boulevard during the incident did not cause any problems.
