Moog, a documentary by San Diego musician Hans Fjellestad about the 70-year-old inventor of the Moog synthesizer, had its San Diego premier February 11 at the Museum of Contemporary Art in La Jolla.

A February 16 screening in London included a set by Stereolab and a Moog performance by Roger O'Donnell of the Cure.

A soundtrack for the film includes songs from O'Donnell, Devo, and Meat Beat Manifesto.

In the film, the Ashville, North Carolina resident is interviewed in his organic garden, where he expounds on his pet chickens and the cultivation of collard greens.

Moog will air locally at 9:30 p.m., March 30, on KPBS Channel 15.
