Weekday mornings, businessmen crowd in. Later, you see politicians and conventioneers. But weekends, 222 belongs to downtown's young urban professionals. They come here to see -- and be seen -- of course. "Hellos" take half an hour. Though the breakfast choice is huge, "glam owner" Terryl Gavre is particularly famous for her 11/2-inch-thick pumpkin waffles, her orange pecan pancakes, and her homemade corned beef hash breakfast. "The hash is a sell-out every weekend," she says. Sunday mornings you'll find a line of 20-30 people ahead of you. Don't worry. Gavre serves coffee and muffins street-side to make it all bearable.
