Grossmont Center Fountains

Last year, Grossmont Center teamed up with La Mesa Parks and Recreation to redevelop two parks. The mall collects change thrown into its fountains, and $50,000 has already been raised to benefit what will become the Junior Seau Regional Sports Complex at La Mesita Park. The Briercrest Park and Challenge Center, which serves seniors and the physically challenged, will also benefit. Grossmont Center hopes to collect at least $250,000 within five years.
