Want to break into comedy? Start right here. Whoopi Goldberg did, working with Arlene before she started her own "Co-dependency" troupe in 1994. Just call ahead and drop in any Tuesday night around 7, when the troupe gets together to rehearse. Want coaching? She'll turn you on to classes by laugh luminaries like Cal Gibson and Don Victor. Oh, and some basic rules: don't come with jokes. This is situation comedy. Teamwork. Relax. Listen. If your partner says "How come your mom looks at me like that?" be ready to run with it.
