"They also did the lift on my boat," says Lou-Lou, sportsman to the max. He's got two motorbikes now, a Honda VTR 996 "crotch rocket" and a Harley Heritage Softtail. Substituting for legs, both cycles have "training wheels" that go down or come up, depending on whether Lou's stopping or accelerating. Vortex owner Gene Anderson took Lou's CAD work and drawings and produced it in steel. His shop charged about $3000 for the job, but, Anderson says, Lou did a lot of the work on his own. Besides making it easier for Lou to eat bugs, Anderson's shop is "happy to help with all metal fabrication for all industries... You know that round house on Mount Helix that rotates? I did that house."
