The studio offers classes designed to teach children the basics of drawing and, once those skills are learned, painting methods. Lessons are laid out in a series of steps and each student receives an individually designed program -- depending on age and experience level. There are never more than six students per class, and many courses are taught by two instructors. Children, aged 4 to 7, take one-hour classes, while those 8 and older, take 1 1/2 -hour lessons. A monthly tuition fee is charged, but the first class is free.
