After Pat and Russ Wittberger's teenage daughter, Jenny, died of a heroin overdose, the couple founded GRASP (Grief Recovery After a Substance Passing) to comfort others who have lost a loved one to drug abuse. The group meets the third Saturday of every month in a small church in Kensington. The morning session, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., is reserved for bereaved parents. The afternoon session, from 1 to 3 p.m., is for other family members and friends. Free.
