Best of 2003: Best After-The- Bullfights Party

First you have to go to the bullfights (if only to make conversation at the party afterwards) located a few steps from Tijuana's beaches and a few meters from the border. The bullfighting season typically starts in March or April and runs every other Sunday through the end of summer. The fights start mid-afternoon around 3:30 or 4, and tickets range from $10 to $20. After the goring experience, the best after-party is held at Señor Frogs in the Pueblo Amigo Shopping Center just minutes from the San Ysidro border. Partygoers swarm the three-story restaurant/bar for traditional food, tequila, Dos Equis, and rock en español.
