The average cost of a guitar from this industrial park warehouse is $3000. Although brothers Bob and Tim Page also sell electric guitars, their inventory of acoustic guitars (approximately 1500 in stock) has become their market. Buffalo Brothers carries 27 guitar brands, as well as vintage models. They're also the nation's largest retailer of Taylor Guitars made in El Cajon. They carry Taylor's entire product line, from $400 entry-level guitars to the $10,000 Presentation series. But professional musicians aren't the brothers' bread and butter; it's the grown up guitar-heads who dreamed about the perfect guitar when they were teenagers. "Our customer is the 30- to 50-year-old male who's got bucks," says Bob.
