Taking a conventional cab from Coronado to Seaport Village will cost you $13-$15 and take 10-20 minutes. But call the other cab, a water taxi, and you can get to the mainland in three minutes -- by water! That's right. Request that taxi to pick you up at, say, Peohe's pier, and moments of splashing blue water and fresh air later, you're stepping off in Seaport Village. Or at the foot of Broadway.
