This free "museum of science and history" (open 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday) will "take you on a journey through time!" according to its brochures. That's Biblical time -- starting with Day One of God's six-day work week and continuing on through the age of Darwin and his contemporaries. If you think you're a creationist but unconfirmed in your beliefs, there's no better place to gain confirmation. A sound system enhances the experience, and the documentation bristles with scientific-sounding language. If, on the other hand, you believe in evolution, there's no better place to gain insight into its opponents. Where else can you find a wooden model of Noah's ark, or lists of the species he carried on board, or explanations of how the ark rode in the water and how the animals got along with one another? (Answer: the stress made a lot of them hibernate.)
