Located about 15 minutes west of downtown, several well-maintained grassy pastures are available for rides, most including corrals where you can prep and pamper your four-legged friends. Professional trainers have access to five track rings where horses can be put through show pony paces, including a 650-foot lighted ring with sand footing. Bright Valley boards horses and rents tack- and horse-trailer storage. Miles of riding trails along Sweetwater River are open to boarders and to weekend riders who rent their steeds. Instructors teach all-ages classes in English, Western, and Hunt seat riding; $30 per hour for one person, $25 per person for groups. Corrals are 24' x 24' with 6'6" rails, complete with automatic waterers and external feeders. Monthly board for corrals is $165 per month. The pastures have automatic watering, and board is $145 per month. Bright Valley also buys and sell horses, breeds horses, and raises horses for their own stables.
