Twice a month, on Fridays, Alambres holds a beer promotion con scantily clad girls from the beer companies and a huge free Mexican buffet. The combination leads to a relaxed and diverse clientele, apart from the standard downtown crowd. Happy hour is from 4:00-8:00 p.m. It's open every day from 8:00 a.m.-3:00 a.m., features breakfast, and has a dance club downstairs.
