All of the Body Beautiful Car Washes do excellent work, but the crew at Pacific Highway and Hawthorne Street are a little more outstanding. Like most other car washes, the attendant will ask you if you would like extra service, but unlike the others, he will not pressure you. Regular full-service car washes are $9.99, but with a coupon (which is received after each wash) the price is $2 cheaper. Full service includes exterior wash, vacuuming, interior/exterior window cleaning and towel drying. You can pay extra for Wheel Bright, but it's unnecessary as (again, unlike other places) the wheels will be bright and shiny with a regular wash. Wax, carpet, and upholstery cleaning are also available, each for $39.99. Detailing runs from $99 for interior or exterior to $149 for both. Teflon sealant and Scotchgarding extra. Another added benefit is the location: A great bay view and always a cool breeze. Remember to tip the attendant when he takes your receipt. Open seven days, 7:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
