Rite Aid's Hillcrest branch dispenses drugs 24 hours, with three pharmacists during the day and one working the graveyard shift. The evening crew is also limited to one checker and one clerk. One of the latter employees says, "After midnight, it's usually a 20-minute wait to get a prescription filled, maybe a half hour. Not many people get drugs in the middle of the night, so the one pharmacist could have no other orders to fill." The same clerk recommends avoiding Wednesday nights. "We get our load of merchandise, and we're all busy getting our orders up. Friday and Saturday nights are good because everyone is out partying or getting their drugs from someone besides a pharmacist."
