The black jeans ($19.99), for example, are a good notch up from blue jeans on the totem pole of casual/dressy, plus they progress to a nice faded charcoal over time. The dorky name of this in-store brand is "High Sierra." Just take the namepatch off when you get home. Or don't tuck in your shirt, which is a better look anyway, jeans-wise. Speaking of shirts, here's the scoop on them: They're almost always on sale. White, black, blue, lots of colors, all sizes in stock ($14). The clientele isn't made up of the hippest people you've seen, but that includes you -- while you're there.
