Rows of old metal scooters park in front of this Midtown club when certain '60s-sounding pop rockers are on the bill. One such draw: The Shambles, whose original songs and covers (the Kinks, the Zombies) reflect their Anglophilia. They attract a crowd of smartly dressed retro-mods, who count the Who's Quadrophenia as the greatest artistic expression since the Mona Lisa -- or at least since Status Quo's Pictures of Matchstick Men.
