This is not only the best source of daylilies in San Diego County; it's one of the best in the United States. Owner Steve Brigham produces some 1700 varieties, and when they're all blooming in late May and early June, a stroll through the fields provides an education in color. The lilies bloom at other times of the year too, and there's so much else going on at Buena Creek (interesting new plants, a magical shade garden, secret pathways) that it feels Edenic year-round.
