Besides home-baked treats and coffee straight-up, the small performance space adjacent to Twigg's Coffeehouse, dubbed "The Green Room," hosts local musicians along with several national touring artists. One musician appearing at Twigg's during his tour through California was acoustic guitar virtuoso Richard Smith. The popular "Open Mic" night every Wednesday at Twiggs is a kinder, gentler version of the "Gong Show," where local musicians sign up to perform ten-minute sets.
