Vincenzo Bruno moved to San Diego from Sicily in 1946 and has cut enough hair to send his children to college, see them become successful, and buy some real estate. He still cuts hair to pass the time. This is not a place for trendy cuts. Mr. Bruno's expertise is traditional men's haircuts. The interior is basic, with family photos and knicknacks lining his display case. He always has the daily newspaper, along with a thick assortment of men's magazines. The price varies: He always says, "Oh, whatever you can pay" and then suggests $5. Off-street parking is available next to the shop.
