Raising an anatomically correct child? No cutesy names for embarrassing body parts or icky functions? How grimly sensible. Nose ooze, to the medicos, is just plain mucus. Hoping for something fancier? Maybe...rhinogenic exudate? Mucoidal concretions? Mucus that’s reached true, gooey boogerhood usually contains bacteria so...bacteriomucosities? Mucobacteroids? Well, hell, the kid’ll still call ’em boogers anyway, so forget it.
