Home Start, Inc. will host its 13th Annual Hallo-Wine Fall Festival. This event will be held virtually this year to allow all food and drink lovers to enjoy this fun and interactive event from the comfort of their own homes! Participants will be treated to a tasting box (with enough tastings for two participants) filled with samples from a variety of vendor partners from around San Diego. This event will also allow viewers to learn about locally crafted cider, wine, beer, and specialty cocktails from Home Start’s vendor partners. There will even be trivia rounds with prizes! Participants can purchase from a various selection of Tasting Boxes, which will include food samples, tastes of craft beer, cider, wine, and spirits, two (2) Home Start tasting cups, one (1) mini Home Start Bright Futures Candle, various gift certificates and discount coupons to local restaurants and vendors, and more! The prices for the Tasting Boxes range from $50 for the alcohol-free box, to $100 for the “Feature” Tasting Box, up to $150 for the “VIP” Tasting Box. The “VIP” Tasting Box is also available for delivery to your home or office by Home Start board members and volunteers on either the day before the event or the day of the event. Delivery is valid for San Diego County addresses only. Home Start, Inc. is a non-profit agency that provides services tailored to prevent child abuse and neglect and to strengthen families..The proceeds raised from this event will help Home Start serve victims of domestic violence in recognition of October being National Domestic Violence Awareness Month and provide services to local families affected by COVID-19.
