Amazing World of Bats: Nature's Tiny Fighter Jets
All over the world from, San Diego
Cost: Free
Bats are fascinating with incredible skills of flight and nighttime navigations. They contribute to our environment by serving as catchers of insects, pollinating wild fruits, and helping reforest disturbed lands. They are under threat world-wide and need our protection as much as we need them in healthy populations. Don Endicott is a retired civilian research engineer/executive in the field of Navy Communications and Network Technologies. He is now a volunteer naturalist, a public educator for the San Diego: Natural History Museum and Humane Society's Project Wildlife's "Bat Team", where he contributes bat echolocation call recordings.
