Ben Rudnick & Friends 20th Anniversary Family Fun Show
With seven Parents' Choice Awards in their hip pocket, Ben Rudnick and Friends will celebrate two decades of making music for families with a 20th Anniversary Family Fun Show, live-streamed from the Regent Theatre in Arlington, MA. Affectionately nicknamed "the Grateful Dead for kids," Ben Rudnick and Friends create a jam band dynamic that introduces kids and families to good-times tunes that reflect the many hues of our cultural fabric. Their musicianship soars across a spectrum of bluegrass, western swing, disco, reggae, country, folk, and the many flavors of rock. Highlights can range from Ben Rudnick originals like "Macaroni & Cheese" and "A Frog Named Sam" to the band's versions of the Beatles' "Here Comes the Sun" or Buddy Holly's "Not Fade Away." Special guests for the livestream include harmonica wizard Scott Kepnes and Grayce Ferguson (the inspiration for Ben Rudnick and Friends' 2007 album Grace's Bell).
