James Brown: Roots, Deeds & Feats
1249 F Street, San Diego, 92101
Cost: Free - $5
Architect James Brown will be speaking to Friends of San Diego Architecture about "Roots, Deeds, and Feats." Brown is recognized for renovating Weber’s Bread Factory into the art space known as Bread & Salt and for his part in the LIND project in Little Italy, but his design for Friendship Park at the border, a meeting spot where people from both nations can connect, may be his most rewarding project. The lecture is $5, but students are free. No reservations required.
