Members of the Friends of the Cardiff Library will be able to fill a paper grocery bag with books for only $3.00, and non-members will be able to fill a grocery bag for $5.00. Individual books may be purchased for 25 cents each. For those who have joined or renewed their membership, the Friends of the Library thank you. For those who are interested in becoming a member, you can join at any point in the year. Membership costs only $10.00 per year, (January to January), and is also a great gift idea for a family member or a friend. Another membership perk: members may purchase up to five books for half price in the Book Nook every Monday. Funds raised through the Friends of the Library memberships and book sales support the library’s children’s programs, a free concert on the first Wednesday of each month, four $1,500 scholarships to local graduating seniors, the library yoga and art classes, the purchase of books and supplies for the library, and much more.
