Women’s March San Diego
Thousands of San Diegans will join the third annual Women’s March in San Diego to harness the political power of diverse women and their communities to create transformative social change. San Diego residents across the county have RSVP’d for the event and will march in support of a range of issues, including civil rights, disability rights, ending violence, immigrant rights, LGBTQIA rights, reproductive rights, and workers rights. Past San Diego marches have drawn crowds in the tens of thousands. This peaceful demonstration will magnify the work being done by local community organizations and produce a tidal wave of voices that will bring #TruthToPower. Members of the media are invited to attend for interviews and photo opportunities. Additional Women’s March San Diego activities will take place leading up to the event, including a Women’s Marches panel discussion at the Women’s Museum of Art on January 17.
