Award winning jazz guitarist, composer and publisher Peter Sprague brings his jazz quartet, augmented by vocalist Lisa Hightower. Performing with Peter will be Tripp Sprague (sax), Duncan Moore (drums), and Gunner Biggs (bass). Peter is internationally renowned and has produced or played on over 190 recordings. The quintet is expected to highlight music of the Cole Porter era, with a few of Peter’s personal creations thrown in for good measure. This series of Classical and Jazz Concerts is sponsored by the nonprofit Friends of the Rancho Bernardo Library as a cultural service to the community. Tickets are not required. Donations are encouraged to cover the costs of the musicians.
