“Finding treasures where I least expect to and turning them into a representation of who I am makes my clothes all that more special”
Miranda Potmesil 2 p.m., May 16
On Wednesday, June 13, foodies will be strolling the picturesque sidewalks of San Diego’s Little Italy because restaurants of San Diego’s top eatery hub will open their doors for the 10th annual Taste of Little Italy from 5 to 9 p.m. Food lovers will enjoy live music while sampling some of the neighborhood’s most popular dishes, including appetizers, entrees, desserts and beverages. Ticketholders will receive a Taste Passport, a guide mapping out all participating restaurants in the neighborhood and their menu offering. Two different Taste Passport routes will be available on the event website—a south route and a north route—each featuring nearly 20 restaurants. Participants will receive each eateries’ tasting in exchange for a stamp on their passport. Tickets are priced at $40 per route prior to the event and $45 at the door. Tickets will go on sale in late April.
