Guided Nature Walk
Start your Sunday morning off on the right foot with a leisurely walk through one of Mission Valley’s hidden gems: Mission Valley Preserve! The San Diego River Park Foundation will lead you on a guided nature walk through the 52 acre preserve, giving you an opportunity to learn about native plants and animals that call Mission Valley their home. This is a great chance to learn about common plant and animals that you’ve seen around San Diego, but could never put a finger on! You’ll also learn about current San Diego River Park Foundation projects that are targeting invasive species in Mission Valley as well as ways that you can help preserve the biodiversity along the River! This moderate walk will follow a flat dirt trail. Please wear sturdy walking shoes and bring at least 12 oz. of water. Prepare for a warm summer day in San Diego.
