Graffiti Camp for Girls
July 16 - July 20 | Ages 12 to 18 Young women have an opportunity to learn and practice the skill of public art. First campers learn the fundamentals; second, campers come together to explore thematic possibilities for a group effort; and finally campers work collaboratively on a public mural. The goal of this camp is to create an immersive experience that promotes learning, nurtures confidence, and provides an outlet for creative expression. About the teaching artist: Nina Wright aka Girl Mobb is an artist, muralist, printmaker, and teacher with a BFA from the Academy of Art University, San Francisco. She is known for saturating the Bay Area with murals, street art, and gallery shows. As the founder and director of Graffiti Camp for Girls, she is dedicated to giving girls creative opportunities to enhance their public art skills.
