San Diego Baroque Soloists
1008 Wall Street, San Diego, 92037
Cost: $40 - $45
The San Diego Baroque Soloists are spurred by an enthusiasm for baroque and classical repertoire, and a taste for the sometimes raw, always vivid sonorities of historical instruments, these soloists formed an ensemble in 2014. Listen as they explore music with literary connections, including Purcell’s “The Fairy Queen” and Telemann’s Intrada-Suite “Gulliver’s Travels.” The San Diego Baroque Soloists consist of Pierre Joubert and Isaac Allen on violins, Andrew Waid on viola, Alex Greenbaum on cello, and Alison Luedecke on harpsichord/organ. All concerts are followed by a private reception with the artists.
