La Vuelta Cultural Summer Festival
The 2nd annual La Vuelta Cultural Summer Festival is scheduled for Saturday, August 25, on three blocks of Logan Avenue, from Evans to 26th Street, in Barrio Logan. Admission is free and open to all ages. Billed as a celebration of our communities’ distinct heritage and culture, the event will feature more than 70 vendors, including art exhibits, food booths, and two outdoor craft beer gardens. The festival will also include a classic car show, a scale model exhibit, ballet folklorico, Aztec dancers, and a community arts stage. This year’s main stage will feature live music by the B-Side Players, Lil Rob, Trish Toledo, East LA’s Casa de Calacas, Banda Paso de Tecuala, and Southwest High School Mariachi Estado de Oro. The La Vuelta Cultural Summer Festival is presented by the Logan Avenue Consortium.
