Chefs Barry Layne and Steven Patrick from Coast Catering are excited to pair up with Cheval Winery to present a wine paired seven course dinner. Cheval’s journey began with the origin of their name – CHEVAL - which translates to “horse” in French. The owners, Donna and Dr. Randy Kaufman, were originally looking for a property for their champion show horses and stumbled upon their breath-taking location. With a name like Cheval, having horses on site is a must! You can see their champion show horses at The Stompin’ Grounds on site. Cheval Winery names most of their after their beautiful horses. The winery is located in the Eden Valley neighborhood of Escondido, California.
