Katie Stevinson-Nollet Solo Dance Concert: Coming to the Surface
Coming to the Surface is a collection of solo dance works from some of the countries most innovative and cutting edge choreographers. Katie Stevinson-Nollet, a native Californian and former company member with Isaacs McCaleb and Dancers and guest with Jean Isaacs/San Diego Dance Theater, returns to San Diego to perform at the Live Arts Fest 2018. The performance features four original dance works by world-renowned choreographers Adam Baruch, David Dorfman, Jean Isaacs, and Kate Weare. Also on the program is a playful collaboration with Stevinson-Nollet and Bang on a Can Bassist, Robert Black. Themes explore topics of femininity, discovery, age, misogyny and empowerment. Coming to the Surface will have its West Coast premier at the Live Arts Fest 2018, April 21st at 7:30pm.
