Borderless Dine & Wine
Set in The Westgate Hotel’s Versailles Ballroom, guests will feast on a four-course prix fixe menu specially crafted by celebrity chefs Claudia Sandoval, winner of MasterChef, and Javier Plascencia, a culinary ambassador of Baja, California. Each chef will construct two courses using sustainably sourced ingredients.
The Westgate Hotel, in partnership with the Consulate General of Mexico in San Diego, will host a regional culinary experience benefitting the Culinary Art School of Tijuana. The event will serve as the official debut for these students. While sipping on a variety of Baja wines and beers, live music from jazz chantress Lorraine Castellanos will provide the ambiance. The celebration continues on Saturday with a celebrity chef challenge.
