The streets of downtown transformed into urban version of the rolling hills of Ireland and the luck of the Irish is unleashed on the West Coast when 20,000 Irish revelers meet in the streets of the Gaslamp for 18th annual shamROCK, presented by Jameson and The Field. Highlights: 150-foot Irish pub in the streets; lighting extravaganza on the surrounding buildings; and streets turned green with over 80,000 square feet of green Astroturf.
Music headliner the Young Dubliners, featuring other live bands performing Irish rock, Irish punk, and other Irish favorites. Find DJs on Fifth Avenue and F Street. The final stage will be located next to the 150-foot Irish pub and will play host to Irish River Dancers, and Southern California DJs.
ShamROCK will take place on 6th Avenue between E and G Streets, F Street between 5th and 7th Avenues, and G Street between 5th and 6th Avenue. Tickets are $35 in advance and $45 at the door. All proceeds benefit the Gaslamp Quarter Historical Foundation. 619-233-5008.
