Eleventh annual event is an evening of dance inspired by French Impressionist painter Claude Monet, combining fresh new dances with music composed by Ravel, Debussey, folk music from Brazil played live by pianist Steve Baker and guitarist Fred Benedetti and several Villa Lobos songs, which were deeply affected by the impressionist movement in music.
All choreography is by Jean Isaacs. Dancers include Blythe Barton, Annie Boyer, Matt Carney, Liv Isaacs-Nollet, Trystan Loucado (on break from an international tour with the Les Ballet de Trocadero de Monte Carlo), Minaqua McPherson and Kyle Sorensen.
