San Diego Celebrates Peacock Nails’ Grand Opening Event in Chula Vista

Peacock Nails, a popular destination spot for self-care services, celebrated its grand opening party on Saturday, January 20, welcoming over 300 guests from across Southern California. Alongside San Diego’s rainy weather, the top-voted salon embraced the downpour as it is auspiciously considered a sign of good fortune and bringing forth new positive beginnings for business.

The evening kicked off with a captivating lion dance by the Southern Sea Dragon and Lion Dance Association. The traditional performance included a fusion of dancing, martial arts, and music, representing prosperity, protection, and strength.

Co-owners Tina Ngo and Jennie Hyunh, and Andrew Vo, delivered heartfelt speeches acknowledging everyone who contributed to the success of Peacock Nails’ second location expansion since its initial opening in 2021.

When asked why the team chose Chula Vista as its new geographic location for business, Ngo explained, “It was an unexplainable feeling for us. We collectively knew that this area was missing something unique. Together, we decided Peacock Nails would be something that brings light and joy for the community.”

A ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the opening, leading guests down a red carpet into the front doors. Lined along the carpet were yellow flowers gifted by monk Ni Su Chu Hanh of Quan Am Monastery, Inc., symbolizing good luck and prosperity.

Huynh expressed her gratitude saying “We feel really privileged to have been accepted by the Chula Vista community and to have so many supporters come be part of this special day. We made a team together to bring the best, new, and positive thing to San Diego.”

The soiree featured raffles, music, dancing, food, and drinks - all of which were from local establishments and entrepreneurs. Throughout the night, guests experienced 15-minute demos of various facial previews, including Microcurrent, European, and Hydrafacial treatments along with live demonstrations of the new location’s exclusive goat milk hand masks. They even offered the viral personalized scalp and hair camera analysis for all guests to gain insights into their scalp and hair health.

Peacock Nails extends their heartfelt gratitude to the friends, family, volunteers, vendors, and customers who made the event a success. They extend the invitation to all to come and visit their salons in Chula Vista and Lemon Grove for a premium beauty and wellness experience.
