Sr Software Test Engineer:

Ionian Technologies, an Abbott Labs Co, in San Diego, CA seeks qualified Sr Sftwr Test Eng. Resp for scope, reqs, & delvry of sftwr & assoc. testing for In vitro diagnostics (IVD) med device prods. Masters or foreign equiv in CompSci, Electrcl/Electrncs Eng, Biomed Eng, Tech Mgmt or closely rltd fld of study (Will accept Bachelors w/ min. 5 yrs of prog prof exp ILO Masters) each alt req w/ min. 2 yrs of exp in: (i) creating Eng Test Plans for Smart Device Apps & Desktop Apps for various releases; (ii) perfrmng communications testing on Wi-FI, Ethernet, Wireless, &/or TCP/IP; (iii) testing sftwr in Real-Time Operating Systm (RTOS) envirnmnts s/a Windows Embedded Compact/CE, QNX, Linux/Ubuntu Embedded, &/or VxWorks; (iv) utilizng Agile Sftwr Dvlpmnt Life-Cycle (SDLC) & test-driven methdolgies; (v) ensurng compliance w/ med qual mgmnt systm ISO13485, risk mgmnt ISO14971, 21 CFR 820, med devices sftwr – sftwr life cycle processes IEC 62304 & testing med devices as per IEC 60601; (vi) applyng & executing Object Oriented Programmng (OOP) testing in Python &/or C#; & (vii) testing tools s/a Jira, Confluence, Github, Gerrit, Perforce, SBM &/or Jenkins.
