12/3 SOOW 100' spool wire

I have a spool, unopened of 12/3 portable heavy duty (SOOW, not the cheaper SJOOW) electric cord. 600v 3 wire 12 AWG flexible cable. I was planning one using this to hook up my generator to my home but we sold the generator last spring while cleaning
