The Switchfoot singer's solo album
In Bloom, due May 31, is a 12-song collection said to be "crafted to accompany a drive down the California coast on a sunny afternoon." The album features guest vocals from singer-songwriters Joy Oladokun and and Abby Holliday, and was co-produced with James McAlister (Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Sufjan Stevens). He'll be touring in support of Brandon Lake through April.
Their new single "Faded" precedes an upcoming debut album called
Certified, due this summer on ENCI Records. Guitarist/vocalist Angel Mariscal says “'Faded' is about two people being under the influence too often. It seems like a fun thing, but it’s not healthy. You see how bad it is in retrospect.”
The band recently released their "Cover Your Ears" single featuring covers of “Kidney Bingos” by Wire and “Why Can’t I Touch It,” by Buzzcocks. They alsod ropped a new digital single and video for “Breathe Beneath The Waves.”
Their new single "Naive” is the band’s first release in over a year, preceding an EP due this Spring in conjunction with a tour that brings them to the Music Box on April 28.

Tracks From the Attic will be released on digital, CD, colored vinyl LP and Super Deluxe Box Set Art Edition formats on May 3, preceded so far by the first single and video for “Oh No! Not Another Songwriter!”
Her upcoming album
Cassandra has so far spawned three singles, for "Where Do We Go," "Probably," and “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”
Their upcoming Hawaiian Cowboy album, due April 15 via local Pacific Records, includes guests Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top) and four-time Grammy-winning slack key guitar master George Kahumoku Jr. The album was recorded at the invite-only recording studio owned and operated by Foo Fighters and Dave Grohol, Studio 606, where they tracked the record live utilizing the same sound and mixing board used by Nirvana, Fleetwood Mac, Neil Young, Tom Petty, and Paul McCartney among others.
A new single just dropped called "Sui Generis." "As usual, it’s a protest song," he says. "It was originally written while in a band called Lost Pets, but we broke up soon after. This version is super close to my demo, except Holy Fuck John O’Connell from By Sunlight and Ox played drums, it’s mixed by Robert Cheek (Band of Horses, Chelsea Wolfe), and mastered by Eric Broyhill."
Nowell's debut Jakobs Castle album
Enter: The Castle due April 12 via Epitaph Records, is so far preceded by a single for the track “2 Hours Ago.” Meanwhile, original Sublime members Bud Gaugh and Eric Wilson are reuniting with Nowell as the frontman in place of his late father, Bradley Nowell. The trio are scheduled to perform at Coachella and will announce additional select festival performances in 2024.
A new video is streaming for their track “There is No God,” directed by John Reis (Rocket From the Crypt) with assistant director McHank.

The new Stark Shay EP,
Treasures, is a five-song collection that includes two unreleased songs - the title track and "Everywhere the Tao" - as well as the previously released singles "Days of Change," "USA/Mexico Borderline," and "We Begin Again."
