The Southern-fried punk band the Screamin YeeHaws features singer Nick Bone (Red Eye Gravy) and singer/songwriter/guitarist Chris Henry. They hooked up with Cargo Music to distribute their 2006 album Bottle and the Band. Their followup was released in 2010, Bullet, recorded at Doubletime and mixed by Jeff Forrest (blink-182, Cattle Decapitation, Deadbolt).

“Bullet is a little more mature,” said Bone at the time. “We haven’t been on the road quite as much. We’ve been at home dealing with real-life stuff more these days, and that’s reflected in the music. We’re still looking for a distributor/label, or we end up doing it on our own. We just did our first professional video shoot for ‘I Just Like to Party, Man.’ It’s on YouTube.”

In 2012, singer Nick Bone and original YeeHaws bassist Jimmy Dean co-founded a new band, Nick Bone and the Big Scene, while YeeHaws guitarist Chris "Silent" Henry and original band drummer Clay formed the country-ish rock band Hobo Torch.

Late 2017 found singer/songwriter/guitarist Chris Henry fronting a new band called Powerballs, alongside drummer Matthew Kerr (Dodecaophonic, Maiden Taiwan), guitarist Ryan Allen (Sunday Times, Cedar Fire), and bassist Al Barnes.

The Yeehaws have also included at various times bassist Jimmy Dean, bassist Ernie Velas (Whiskey Dicks), and drummer Mordy da Gordy (Whiskey Dicks, the Wastrels).
